ISO 14001 Environmental Management
ISO 14001 is the ISO Environmental Management Standard, which sets out what an Environmental Management System (EMS) needs to contain. It does not tell you how to manage your environmental impacts and greenhouse gas emissions, but requires you to identify your significant environmental Impacts and manage them.
Managing takes the form of identifying and recording your waste volumes and then putting in place a process to firstly minimize and then slowly reduce these in line with the UK government’s Green House Gas targets.
ESOS, SBTi, Evergreen, Carbon reduction Plan and other ENV reporting
Environmental reporting has become very much more important in the last few years and we at UpaLevel have developed our skills and understanding of this subject.
We are able to assist in producing a Carbon Reduction Plan or ESOS report as well as sector specific initiatives such as Evergreen for the NHS or Scientific Targets (SBTi’s) for other sectors.
Environmental reporting takes the form of firstly measuring your Carbon Impact for 3 internationally recognized areas (Scope 1, 2 and 3) and then gathering this information so that the size of these impacts are known to enable you to work towards the target of Net Zero in 2050
